Research Interests
Maria is interested in typology, syntax, morpho-syntax and information structure. She has previously studied and worked on genetically and areally diverse languages, including Warlpiri, Mandarin and Northern Kurdish. She has done corpus studies on ergativity, referential choice and pro-drop using Multi-CAST (multicast.aspra.uni-bamberg.de).
